Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am currently in financial control, I assist the team with checking spreadsheets and ensuring the data provided is correct and there are no huge variences month to month or if there are I investigate and find the reason
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

So far I am really enjoying the programme, I think it is very well organised and supported and I feel secure within the job role. I also think it is great that they support mental health and have good networks within the company to help to champion potential.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots of new skills; communication skills, more knowledge on CPCs, networking information and they are very good at pushing wellbeing. Within my current role my line manager is very supportive with each task and I am provided with process notes.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship course seems very well organised, there was a good induction to the programme and we have been allocated buddies and line managers to support us through each stage of the process.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
There is a lot of support; there is wellbeing support, WFH support, HR team contactable at all times and there is also lots of learning online to show how all of these work to assist you using them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I haven't fully started the course yet as this begins in September but I have managed to find a lot of information online to help prepare me for the course starting.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I haven't started the qualification yet but my line manager refers to the qualification when she shows me different tasks so that when I start the course I can relate this to the jobs I am doing in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of professional networking events, employee-led network events and also team activities for team building and to help mental health
