Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work in Regulatory and Mandatory change in the Commercial sector of the bank. We are currently planning a project, where day to day I collaborate with my team members and various stakeholders on help the transition of the project be seamless and effective.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme. I have been placed in a great team with supportive colleagues and I am continuously challenged and busy learning new things.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my problem solving skills, communication, analytical skills and reflection skills so far. I have also learned new platforms I had no previous experience in and gained more knowledge about my organisation and how it works.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is really well structured. I have had multiple meetings with my Apprentice Development Practitioner keeping me informed and I have had a good amount of time to settle into my organisation.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received a lot of support from my employer, as we have weekly meetings to track how I am doing, feeling and if I need any help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received good support from my training provider, we have had multiple meetings where they have checked in on how I am progressing so far and I can ask any questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it helps by giving you time to reflect on your learning and focus on skills you want to improve that are specific to your job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a lot of virtual events you can join to help your professional development, your wellbeing, or personal development. Unfortunately due to COVID there are no social activities yet.
