The programme has been amazing and working at Guy Carpenter has introduced me to some great, insightful people as well as an exciting industry that does not get nearly enough exposure to young, finance-minded school leavers.

Developed communication skills hugely throughout the integration process of joinging a new team in a fast paced, broking house environment. Have also learned how to use several insurance-specific IT platforms ]in the course of my work.

There are many extra-curricular activities/groups. Sports teams are plentiful, charity opportunities are an email away and support groups numerous.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Marsh McLennan to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a great place to work, learn and improve. Professional development is encouraged and the atmosphere is perfect to operate in and enjoy.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Marsh McLennan?
Research the industry, young people are not exposed to the actual practices behind insurance enough. Going in with a base knowledge is unendingly helpful. Otherwise, realise when you have an opportunity and take every one that comes your way. Commit to learning, improving and being part of a good team.
