My role involves using IT systems, having regular contact with clients, managing my own case load, completing administrative tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my programme, I have learned valuable skills that I can use in day to day life as well as the working environment.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My role has taught me vital customer service skills, I have learned how to use a new IT system. It has helped me improve my time management skills and they ability to identify what tasks need prioritising over others.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think that my programme is structured well as I have prioritised time that incorporates my study time. I spent the first 4 months in admin which helped me learn the valuable skills needed to complete basic tasks and gain basic knowledge.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer. I am in regular contact with both my mentor and my manager which is helpful to discuss any questions that I may have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from my training provide, especially my coach. If I am unsure of a task my coach always allows time to discuss the problems I may be facing and helps me understand the work that I need to complete.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training that I do through my training provider has helped me comply to the legal requirements and regulations set out by the SRA. This has helped me understand my duty as a case manager and ensured that I do not work outside of my ability.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I joined Co-op during a pandemic so I haven't been able to experience any extra-curricular activities. They have tried to do as many as they can in the circumstances e.g. Fit for Feb.
