Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Overall the structure and length of the programme works really really well striking up a good balance between work and apprenticeship and enough time between modules to complete assignments. The lower scoring comes from a lack of consistency across tutors within the university. There a vast capability differences and teaching styles. This has led to some modules being less effective than others.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy the learning aspect and I have gained a vast variety of new skills that I've been able to apply to my work role. Getting to meet like minded individuals from different walks of life has been really beneficial when it comes to sharing best practice for assignments.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt a number of skills which have mainly broadened my thinking to a wider view outside of just my organisation

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Initially it was well thought out and planned. There have been occasions where 2 modules have been due at the same time - even staggered by a week this would have been better. On occasion slides have had missing or outdated content. Some iLearn lessons have broken links that no longer work and again, have contained out dated or non relevant content.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
The group have allowed me the time I need to take part in the apprenticeship. At times, I've needed to step in on my uni days as required which has led me to needing to work in my own time. This is rare.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Coaching support has been great and has kept me on track
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I was recently promoted and I believe the learnings gained throughout the course have directly contributed to me being able to display higher levels of thinking
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are networks you can join to meet other like minded people
