To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I've enjoyed it very much. Its varied and challenging work. My cohort have been fantastic in supporting each other.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt much more about myself, the soft skills what are required to become a manager. I'm also trying to develop my presentation skills, as I do not like doing them

It has been very well organised given the situation we are in.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I'm very lucky that my employers have been very supportive and have made time for me when ever I have asked for help or support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The uni have been very supportive and reactive given we are not on campus. For example, 121 with tutors relating to our projects, access to online books for study and study support sessions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Understanding the academic models and theory has made me realise we do actually use them at work and has given me a greater insight in why we work the way we do. Its also allowed me to give better feedback (because I have a better understanding) and suggest improvements.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. However, as we are all working from home they're currently restricted to online activities. We hold weekly online team quizzes and games.

Would you recommend NATS to a friend?
Yes
Why?
NATS are a great company to work for and I'm proud to work for them. There are plenty of opportunities to progress, network and relationship build should you want to do so. The people are amazing and support you anyway they can.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NATS?
Be honest! Even if you don't hold all the experience or qualifications still apply. NATS understands and recognises that people can be developed and want to learn and will offer training and support to the successful candidates.
