Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Coordinating the creation and distribution of marketing materials aimed at Healthcare Professionals. Liaising with colleagues from all around the world aiming to raise disease awareness and promote both branded and unbranded content.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

From the beginning of the placement I was given sole responsibility for projects and coordinating various activities. I was allocated as the spokesperson for communicating with external parties in many projects.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was extremely friendly and supportive. Despite being an undergrad you are treated as an equal and valuable member of the company. You are afforded many opportunities to get involved in initiatives outside of your department and interact with senior leaders.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time during my placement. It has been an incredible opportunity to gain an insight into a fascinating and diverse industry. I have been able to grow both personally and professionally, developed many new skills and formed relationships that I will maintain well into the future. I have gained an unforgettable experience.
