Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Carrying out data analysis on a variety of clinical data
Organizing meetings and producing meeting minutes
Reviewing E-dairy data from clinical study participants

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given lots of responsibility, including taking part and engaging in meeting with senior members of the company. I was also responsible for monitoring the safety of patients via their E-diary. I was also given the opportunity to ask for more responsibility as I developed over my year placement.

I was given lots of training to complete tasks and the team is very welcoming and helpful with any issues I had. My manager also pushed me to enrol in several courses to develop my skills and understanding

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Despite working at home due to COVID-19 the team was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They also offer lots of support and take the time to listen to any issues and work to implement new ways to improve the way we work at Pfizer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and I feel I have gained a tremendous amount whilst working, which will provide me a great basis for my future career.
