Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I have to go out with my company car and go to site's such as hospitals and vets. This is because my job involves repairing, maintenance, servicing medical machines such as MRI's, CT's, X-ray machines etc.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy it very much, i don't have many problems with the apprenticeship programme to be honest, it is a very good programme

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt customer service skills as i went on customer service training. I have also learnt electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering skills also with college.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I think this programme is structured very well as we get sent to germany at points to get training, we learn from other experienced engineers how to fix the machines. The studying is one day a week apart from the first year which is 5 days a week which is a bit daunting but it is worth it.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my manager, my training provider, engineer's if I'm stuck with something and also the Siemens apprentice supporter. Overall, there is a lot of help with work but also everyone get along.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I don't get too much support from Stegta, i do documents for them and their attitude is good towards me but i get more support from Siemens.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
What i learn during my apprenticeship i think does help me and will help me in the future as understanding of general engineering is going to help me understand the machine's i will be working on.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
There was but not now cause of Covid
