Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I manage recruitment and the strategy for all Head office vacancies for the group. I create adverts, vacancy briefings with the hiring managers, screen candidates, telephone interviews and send shortlist over to the hiring manager to interview.
I work directly with HR to discuss internal succession, provide market insight and work with Senior Stakeholders within the business. Coach and mentor a team of recruiters to support and help develop them in their roles within the business.

Yes definitely, I would say that I learnt different styles and how to manage communication with different people. I found having conversations about conflict and how to manage difficult conversations with the team really helped me put it into real life practice,
