Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Analyser maintenence, quality control, external quality control, sample reception, manual sample analysis
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Well presented, great staff, opportunity to legitimise my skills and knoewledge.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
No, not really.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I would say it's good but not perfect. But I couldn't expect anymore from the first year of a new program and it's nice to be a part of the changes that may take place in coming years for the next cohorts of students
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
As much as they can, given the department's resources and outside issues
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
As much as they can give, it's in their interest that we do well and give the program a positive review ;)
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I will have a better background knowledge due to the academic aspects of the course, and of course after having qualified and registered with the HCPC will be able to work by myself. I am already able to do the job, in terms of skills and practical knowledge, I need the accredited degree and HCPC registration to do it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
None.
