we answer the phones and book in appointments for patients and also deal with any enquiries they may have
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy working at the surgery it is always changing and keeps me on my toes and the people i work with make it more enjoyable

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to use system one and how to book appointments for people, i have also learnt about issuing prescriptions and what to do in to emergency cases

How well organised/structured is your programme?

it is well structured but there could always be more ways to improve the programme
How much support do you receive from your employer?

we receive alot of support from our employer and always have the option to speak to them in and out of work to ask or talk about anything that we may have issues with
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have alot of support from my assessor and can contact her about any issues that i may face at the time, and she is always able to answer any concerns that i may face
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it helps in teaching me more things that can be applied to the job role such as learning more about diversity and equality and health and safety in the workplace
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

we do not have any of those at this current time and i am unsure as to whether they are normally offered but due to current situations with covid we are unable to do most things

because it is a valuable job role and the people that work here are amazing people and the job itself is rewarding as youre helping those who are in need of help and support
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
dont expect everyday to be the same and always be aware of the changes that will happen on a daily basis
