Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
It was a virtual event (around 2 and a half hours) which gave us an insight into banking and how to learn about finance, such as preparing for an interview and what the industry entails.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The hosts were made explanations clear and many different roles within MUFG were explained in detail. Opportunities into MUFG were also explained, making the application process a little less daunting.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
All the representatives were inclusive and welcoming - even in the breakout rooms. The company culture (as it was described) seems very warm and overall a brilliant working environment where colleagues are on-call to help you with anything.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed the insight very much. It cleared up most of my doubts in pursuing a career in finance despite being on a science path currently. It also gave me a boost of self confidence as it helped me developed speaking skills and techniques used in interviews (in-person and online).

Do some research on the form, go above and beyond (e.g searching up their biggest competitors). I’d also advise someone who’s wishing to apply to MUFG to consider an internship or apprenticeship in order to work closely to the firm.
