Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Develop new features and resolve bugs using C#, taking available work from a list that is shared by the whole team and planned out collectively every two weeks
Contribute to daily stand-up meetings by summarising work done the previous work day and plans for the rest of the day

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Full responsibility for the programming tasks assigned to me, some responsibility for deciding future work practices during research tasks

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very positive - special emphasis made to promote company culture even remotely, peer briefings for any member of staff to present about relevant topics, fortnightly all hands calls to keep everyone informed on the state of the business
