Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am a data analyst and my day to day role is to gather insights on data, automate cleaning, manipulation and visualisations of data and help out with others in the team that need it.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I love the programme I am on, my team are great to work with and they are very inclusive and invited me into the team. The programme I am on is well above my expectations and I am really enjoying myself working at the FCA.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
New skills that I have learnt are networking, communication, analysis skills and general basic working skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My programme is very well organised I had an induction and have been placed on lots of internal training to get me up to speed on the programmes we use. This also conjoins with the amount of support I have received from everyone here. They allow time for me to study for my apprenticeship with my manager being kept in the loop the whole time. There is a good deal of task delegation as well throughout the team which is good.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There is a great deal of support that I receive from everyone here whether that be the managers and my line manager for people within my team who always look to help me when I am struggling or don't understand something. There is lots of accessibility for support with whatever you need and the general attitude towards supporting you is really nice to have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I am given a lot of support from my coach who helps me keep up to date with submitting evidence and making sure I have everything I need. I also get help on the learning side of my apprenticeship from the teachers and the platforms they use to teach which explain everything in detail so you can understand what they mean by things.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Having my coach help me find situation within my role to use the skills I am learning and having a line manager that is so involved so when it comes to finding work that will help me he is able to do so. I feel as though I know more about my role and the industry from what I am learning on my programme.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are a wide range of activities that are available to everyone at the FCA with sports teams, social events, charity/voluntary work in the local community and lots of other for people to become involved in.
