Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Regulation in a portfolio team, supervising 40+ retail banks. I joined external client meetings with banks and learnt about the strategies used by the FCA to ensure compliance with its rules and guidance. I worked on a project for my team that summarised the key points of all the retail banks we supervised to give an overview of each bank on a one page slide. These key points included an overview of the banks business model, their background, the FCA's risks/areas of focus, the PRA's areas of focus, and key metrics to give an overview of the company's financial position.

Yes I was given a lot of responsibility, with willing support from everyone in my team whenever needed.
