Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The year was split into two roles. The first being retail management which involved managing a store team, doing store admin and monitoring KPI’s. The second half of the year involved project management where you are assigned a project that you have to lead to be completed within a deadline. This involved communication with various stakeholders and organising my time.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes! Aldi provides you with a lot of responsibility, from managing a store which includes opening and closing in your store time to communicating with stakeholders from various levels of the organisation to create a project that will impact the company nationally.
