Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day-to-day involved a mix of formal sessions, networking opportunities and time spent in teams. Tasks in my team included legal research tasks, drafting tasks and business development work.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
This scheme provided great insight into the role of a trainee in particular and how that fits into the wider team. Another thing that struck me was the importance placed on business development and the different opportunities here. Overall, I definitely gained a greater understanding of how a law firm operates and what goes into that.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The firm has a great culture and atmosphere which is extremely friendly and welcoming. Partners, associates and trainees are all willing to make time for you and let you get an insight into the firm through their lens.
