Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We had a mix of structured training sessions given by people from across the firm (workshops on personal brand, AI etc.) as well as time spent working in our assigned practice groups, on tasks given to us by supervisors and colleagues.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We got a good amount of information, both from structured sessions and from informally picking up knowledge through our experience working in the firm.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
As a non-law student the firm was appreciative of the fact that I didn't have experience with working on legally technical matters, but I picked up a good understanding of various points of law and the process of litigation.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to RPC
The ability to get on with your colleagues is almost as important as the work itself - you can teach someone how to draft a contract but it's much harder to explain to someone how to be a good team player! I felt like people skills are really valued at the firm.
