Service Lifecycle Management Intern Review

I spend a lot of my time working with python and PowerBI to carry out data analysis. I work within my department and also members of inter-departmental teams in weekly meetings to progress projects.
I am responsible for the departments purchase orders and regularly keep these up to date.

Yes, I am responsible for my own areas of key data analysis that requires consistent monitoring to observe any changes. I am expected to complete my work to a high standard within deadlines and present my projects and findings to wider team members.

I have learnt many new skills while working at Siemens Healthineers including but not limited to:
- Working with PowerBI
- Soft skills such as time management and team work
- Digitalisation utilising Python
- Effective communication within many teams
- A broad range of technical knowledge I am unfamiliar with from university regarding MRI systems.

During my placement I had a mentor within my team who offered me as much support as I needed. It is a very individual topic and it was made clear to me that at any time I could ask for support or guidance in any project or topic throughout my time at Siemens Healthineers.

The culture within Siemens Healthineers is perfect for students. Everyone is willing to help you whether it is a technical query or otherwise. It has been a very welcoming atmosphere and as a new starter this is very comforting and helped ease the transition from university to working life.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my year at Siemens Healthineers and feel very grateful for the opportunity to gain experience in this workplace. I have learnt and expanded so many skills in my year and have appreciated the support from the team throughout.
