Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role involved me working in Helium process engineering team, mostly focusing on digitization, automation and data collection as an intern.
This involved me both working and analyzing current data using python libraries to make some business decision toward helium management,
while it also involved me designing manufacturing and testing electronics hardware to extract new data , or automate existing process for cost and time saving, which requires me to spend time in the lab
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
This is one amazing thing about Siemens Healthineers especially Oxford branch, the responsibility given to Interns is nearly the same as any other employees, so you will find it very difficult to separate yourself from other full time employees. And this included, both attending and participating in team decisions, managing projects, and being responsible for your designs and creation as well, and even dealing with suppliers yourself with all the support needed provided by the team
