Campaign Insights Undergraduate Review

The role involves working alongside the campaign development team and the campaign insights team. You handle the compiling new campaigns in a retailer document to be published for retailers to see. In addition, you compile reports on the performance of said campaigns to inform future decisions on how campaigns should be structured.

I was given a good amount of responsibility. It felt balanced, meaning not too much pressure was put on me but I was also given the freedom to handle my own projects and timings. I felt relied upon in a healthy and respective manner.

I have developed new skills regarding tech and analysis, improving my excel skills massively. I've also had the opportunity to develop my existing social and leadership skills, being given various tasks in which I must work alongside others to produce a result within a given timeframe.

Always being provided support and guidance from both the teams I worked in. I never felt like I didn't have someone to turn to. I always felt comfortable asking questions in times of uncertainty, and such questions were always answered coherently and clearly, helping me out a lot.

Eventhough the nature of my team's role in the business is quite high priority, a casual company culture was always maintained. This helped deal with the pressures of deadlines and meant handling oncoming tasks felt much easier.

I enjoyed my placement thoroughly. I'd recommend it to anyone trying to develop new skills or get an insight into a specific industry. You gain a lot of experience and meet amazing people at the same time.
