My primary role is to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems that support manufacturing processes on-site. This involves a blend of technical support, system maintenance, and proactive monitoring to minimize downtime and maximize productivity across the production floor.

I was given a significant amount of responsibility during my placement, which allowed me to make meaningful contributions to the IT support of the manufacturing site.
I was trusted to handle first-line IT issues independently. This required quick decision-making, effective prioritization, and clear communication with end-users.
Took ownership of smaller project tasks and worked closely with senior staff to see them through from planning to execution.
