Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role as a project and delivery intern means that I take on the role of project manager. On a day-to-day basis this involves managing a range of projects for the company, leading on project meetings, responding to emails and Teams messages, and providing regular project updates to stakeholders. I also take meeting notes for larger projects and help other project managers with any tasks they need help with.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a good amount of responsibility during my placement. At the start of my placement I was given smaller post production projects whilst I learnt the basics. Once I had more confidence and knowledge, I was given larger projects that spanned a range of teams and departments.

I have improved a number of skills including communication, leadership, and time management skills. I have also learnt new skills including my IT skills, project management, professional email etiquette, and note taking.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very welcoming and friendly. People were always happy to help me, or grab a coffee and have a catch up. Regular company events contributed to this positive atmosphere.
