Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day to day basis, I work on the maintenance and improvement of a state of the art internal application used by territories across the globe to ensure business solutions are running smoothly. Along with this I also create and maintain Dashboards used within our international business.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, as i gained more experience through my placement I also took on more responsibility. I was less reliant on the help of my colleagues and was able take on tasks by myself.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learnt how to code using SQL as well as building various dashboards using PowerBI. I have also learnt and improved many soft skills such as presenting, stakeholder engagement and problem solving. Through presenting on a weekly basis it has helped these skills to improve drastically over the course of my placement.

I received lots of support throughout my placemen. I received support from my team to give me the knowledge and skills to effectively thrive in my role. HR and Early Careers have provided lot's of support and guidance especially at the start of my placement to help me feel settled and welcomed into the company.

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. I learnt so much in my role which can help elevate me in my career. I have also met so many great people from all different backgrounds.
