Vendor management through Zendesk, including verification and video calls with vendors. Work with our offshore team on issues related to payments, vendor onboarding, queries from different business units. Weekly business approver report, monthly cleanup of aged vendors. Adhoc training of different business units on various topics including raising POs in SAP and SNAP, invoice processing, P2P Cycle.

I have been given responsibility in multiple different areas, for example training different business units or assisting them with queries. I felt trusted to work independently but also happy to ask questions when I was unsure or wanted clarification.
With the other intern on my team we have worked to automate parts of a few tasks we complete - our manager gave us full trust to do this and it has been successful.

Digital skills including the use of SAP (no prior knowledge of before placement), I am continuing to develop these skills and learn new SAP functionalities. Also existing developing skills in Excel, through the regular reports I produce and when taking on new projects.
Collaboration and communication skills with team and people across the business.
Problem solving and confidence in working independently.

Throughout my whole placement I have felt that there was so much support available. My manager and my team have guided me throughout, as well as contacts in HR who have always made themselves known and available for any issues or queries we might have.

Extremely positive and welcoming atmosphere in the office. Everyone is so friendly and willing to talk or help with anything. Great overall environment to work in.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement, it has been an invaluable experience, from the people I have met to the things I have learnt. I am still continuing to learn every day and meet new people, the opportunities have been endless.
