Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I work within the brand marketing team at Hayu and assist with various BTL and ATL marketing activities. Day-to-day, I raise POs, organise merchandise orders and shipments, create decks and presentations and join team meetings.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I have been given a huge amount of responsibility. I have managed projects by myself such as creating and ordering merchandise for various events, organising internal and external strategy days, organising a branded influencer meal.

I have learnt various new skills such as how to raise a PO, how to budget, how to work with partners, asset uploads, shipping, different marketing terms and definitions.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I have received lots of support and guidance from my line manager and my team. I have weekly 1-2-1 meetings with my manager to ensure everything is running smoothly. My team have taught me how to use photoshop and taken me through various marketing processes.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
NBCUniversal has a great company culture and atmosphere. The office is friendly and chilled and has great facilities. There are always internal events running and interns are very supported.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have loved my internship and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have had a hugely supportive team who have given me huge amounts of responsibility which has helped me to grow. I have enjoyed the large intern cohort and have made lots of new friends.
