Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

-Used ATS systems to applications of candidates throughout the recruitment process and answer queries.
-Performed analysis of metrics in previous recruitment years to gain a scope of what is effective.
-Collated information from internal and external candidates and streamlined it for Brochures and Websites, used to promote the company
-Leveraged the use of AI to setup interviews for candidates and interviewers
-Managed and marketed events
-Handled the bookings of Careers fairs at different universities

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, my manager had the confidence to allow me to take charge of my own work, whilst providing help whenever I needed it.
This was incredibly helpful and it allowed me to develop my organisational skills as I had to ensure that all work was completed on time.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

- Weekly meetings with line manager and buddy - Allow you to ask raise any concerns and help you out if needed.
- Constant Support from Early Careers Team - Whenever I needed help someone always replied to my message as soon as possible.
- Quarterly Feedback report - Every Quarter we would get a feedback report in an hour long session with our line manager. Here, we can aspire to achieve and set goals for the next three months

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is incredibly positive. Everyone is friendly and is always happy to discuss anything with you. They also provide a spotlight on worker's wellbeing. This ensures that work remains a positive environment and everyone is generally incredibly upbeat.
