Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Analysing real estate deals, communicating with clients, modelling future cash flows, assess risks involved and how to mitigate them.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I had the opportunity to be involved in a lot of deals and a variety of deals, providing me with a good exposure to the industry. I was free to voice my opinion about any deal in any meeting even though I was an intern.

Everyone was very helpful and tried their best to include me in a variety of work. I got the chance of working with different analysts. I was also assigned a buddy to help me fit in.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I really love it. We lay great emphasis on teamwork and social events as well. We had regular informal chats with various people in the company and events like pub quizzes with other interns which was so fun!

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Time went by so quickly, got involved in various projects and met various people. Everyday was so exciting; new deals and developed may skills. I learnt so much and now have a good understanding of the investment industry, in particular Real Estate Finance.
