Marketing Intern Review

I was working on revamping and automating an excel dashboard, so the daily tasks involved:
1. Meeting internal and external stakeholders of the project and maintaining relationships with them.
2. Pulling data reports from various data sources.
3. Revamping the excel file and writing formulas for it.
4. Attending end of quarter meetings with various partners.
5. Working closely with the data team, to get the excel dashboard automated.

Yes, a lot. I was trusted to meet all of the external and internal stakeholders on my own and create those important relationships with them. I was also trusted to write emails to various people and partners and asking questions about certain topics.

Improved my Excel skills, gained more knowledge and confidence in relationship with various stakeholders' development, improved communication and independent work skills, gained a lot of knowledge about Media and advertisement.

I have received a lot of support and guidance from the Emerging Talent team as well as my line Manager, navigator, mentor and broader team. Everyone were extremely helpful and willing to answer all the questions I had.

It is great. I have networked with more than 20 people throughout my internship by just slacking or emailing them and asking them to have a chat about their role and career. Everyone were very willing to share their stories and meet with me.

I really enjoyed my internship. I believe my project was meaningful and something that my team truly needed. My team was very welcoming, and I always felt as a part of it. And the rest of the EG community has been very welcoming too, there were many events and initiatives that everyone could participate in.
