FS Assurance Summer intern Review

-Listening to speakers talk about their experience with EY
-Learning more about my service line and EY as a company
- Improving my skills in presentation, resilience and business etiquette
- Completing a case study project with a group of interns and presenting our findings back
-A few fun activities!

It was fantastic to hear from so many people within EY who worked at all different levels within the business, from recent graduates to managing partners, it gave a real insight into the firm as a whole. I felt like there was a good mix of formal and informal sessions and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

- Presentation skills - these were developed during a workshop and during our final presentations
-Networking- with EY colleagues and other students on the EY internship
-Working virtually - I worked in a team of students who I hadn't previously met in real life
- Developing personal image - the importance of this and how to be successful in doing so

Fantastic company culture! This seemed to shine through every employee in the firm in the way they talked about the business. We not only learnt about our work, but also ways to keep healthy outside of work and ways to volunteer and stay active at EY. The quiz element of the internship allowed us to gel with the team in a more relaxed atmosphere and the working culture was incredibly friendly and welcoming!

I really enjoyed the insight programme. I learnt a lot about the business and my service line, but I also enjoyed myself and met plenty of new people. It was very interactive and I enjoyed the case study we worked on as a team. Thanks EY for a great experience!
