Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Performing SOX evaluations, financial and operational audits, and compliance reviews throughout the Company’s global locations. Including supporting Senior Auditors where required on complicated assignments.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given the same amount of responsibilities as a Staff Auditor their. I was trusted with difficult tasks and always asked whether or not I wanted to take on more work to further my knowledge. I have had the upmost exposure during my placement.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was amazing, I've never come across a business with such a positive atmosphere upheld throughout all areas of the business. Everyone is super friendly and inclusive, and always willing to help out if they can.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement at CooperVision and would highly recommend this company to everyone. My team in particularly were extremely welcoming and always striving to increase my knowledge further. I could not have asked for a more positive experience.
