Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I would advice on the queries from business/teams in the GDPR compliance perspective. I would work on the Data subject's rights and officially complete and communicate. I would risk evaluate the Vendor Risk Assessments and advice the business/team under the guidance of the DPO.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
yes, Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had much of the responsibility under the guidance of external counsel.

yes, I have learnt to communicate clearly, to manage my time, work within limited resources, network with the Senior Management up to to director level positions. Further, I have learnt professionalism.
