Product Manager Review

I followed the key PM lifecycle phases which spanned product discovery to solution planning, supported by experienced PMs in the team. Day-to-day I scheduled meetings with my key stakeholders, tracked my progress, and completed deliverables which were guided by my Manager in our weekly 1-1s.

I was responsible for my own project which has had real-life business impact as it was relevant to what the team is focussing on for 2025 onwards.

At the beginning of the internship I underwent goal setting with my Manager and we focused on setting clear targets for what I wanted to achieve during the internship. I had opportunities to develop communication and collaboration skills through team meetings, and got to experience different areas of the business after expressing interest in wanting to understand the company operations as a whole to gain a holistic view.

We were provided with a manager, mentor and navigator. My mentor supported me weekly through 1-1s where I brought topics to discuss and helped provide me with actionable strategies to implement in my work. It was a great 2-way relationship where we could both learn from each other.

It is a genuinely supportive company who care about the wellbeing of employees and this is seen through the organisation of frequent company-wide events.

It was a highly enjoyable experience which I am grateful to have had. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here at EG.
