Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Worked on Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and dev. Jira story assignment, worked on sprints and was actively included in daily stand ups. At the end of the sprints I also participated in Backlog refinement sessions and new tech ‘Show and Tell’s.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I owned my tasks and made sure to keep myself busy. I was responsible for my projects but never felt pressure to deliver something urgently.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Yes, I have built a lot of confidence in my technical skills.
I had to read a lot of Microsoft documentation and understand/write and deploy Terraform pipelines (via YAML files). I have worked on PowerShell scripts for assigning RBAC, creating new cloud resources and SQL database migration. I have also worked with KQL queries on creating new Azure Monitor workbooks.
