Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was working within the audit department being delegated work from a multitude of my peers with a range of different tasks to complete. I was involved in multiple training sessions and meetings with management. I was also able to speak with people from all departments giving me more of an idea of the business as a whole
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given multiple tasks on actual clients to complete. The range of these tasks were not too in depth, however I was kept busy for the duration of the internship

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I am a lot more competent with software such as CaseWare, Inflo, and Excel. I have also learnt a lot about how businesses operate as a whole and how all the departments seem interlinked. Furthermore, I believe this internship improved my confidence due to how welcoming the workers are as well as how much they welcome questions.

All the workers from all departments gave excellent guidance on all matters, not only pertaining to work but to career decisions as well

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is one of the best I have ever seen. Everyone you talk to is very welcoming and wanting to have a conversation with you. The diversity at Evelyn Partners is also admirable and I never felt that I was mistreated in any way during my time here

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Overall, I enjoyed my internship here a lot. Although I found that the work was not stimulating for me, I'm sure that if you find this field interesting then it would be perfect for you. I also enjoyed from the perspective of meeting countless new people in all departments across the business which allowed me to find out what I think I want to do in the future

Evelyn Partners is a very personable firm so I wouldn't recommend to people who aren't too social
