Market research, analysis of posters from a congress, setting up and conducting 1:1s from different areas of the business, networking with interns, forming mentoring relationships,
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, however it is a rather independent internship where tasks are given but I had to be proactive to explore my areas of interest and keep touching base with my manager.

I felt supported as I always had a point of contact for any questions. You are provided with your manager, mentor, buddy and the other interns so you will have a network of people around you!

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It's a lovely atmosphere, very lean and focused teams so everyone is quite busy but always happy to make the time. Their values came across in all the work they were doing and seemed to be upheld by all employees

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed myself very much. At times, it pushed me out my comfort zone and I had to ask for help. All internships are opportunities to grow and everyone will have a different experience. The atmosphere allowed for my personal growth and learning which was invaluable and inevitably has helped determine the direction I want to take my future career.

I would recommend to be yourself, do your research into the company before joining, ask yourself key questions of what you want to achieve from the internship, ask for help if needed, use this as an opportunity to develop yourself and build your network
