Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Refreshing my knowledge on the market updates and news first thing in the morning, joining relevant fund and sector meetings, working on client-specific tasks like portfolio rebalancing, IPR's and general XPlan work.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, everyday I was given a client specific task to take care of - for example, one time I was in charge of creating a client portfolio proposal.

I also had support, whether this was from my buddy, or even other members of staff in the office - everyone was friendly enough to also provide their help and guidance.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is generally friendly, however the only point i would make is there tends to be more visible opportunities which were only provided to London-based candidates.
