Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The scheme involved structured overview sessions into the different practice areas with the opportunity to asks questions.
We all sat in 2 seats for 1.5 weeks where we completed work for a supervisor. You could also try new work form other areas.
We were assisted by a trainee mentor.
We completed a group presentation and two written assessments.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very helpful as we were given the opportunity to ask questions and then use these sessions to impact our work at the firm.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Yes. I practiced skills that trainees use (ie email writing, inspiring and reading documents, taking notes in calls, research, drafting etc) and also practiced soft skills (ie teamwork, asking for work, networking etc).
