Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Project management of material replenishment optimisation, design of the new factory logistics run areas, developing processes for borrowing materials for new site testing.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, plenty. The intern network is big and the work done is relied upon heavily. You are fully supported throughout the year as you gain more responsibility and become more autonomous.

Every project I was on, I had a copious amounts of support and guidance where I needed it. Everyone respects the interns and are very happy to help.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Although it is a global corporation, the MT site is very close knit and really feels very supportive and collective. Everyone I met was lovely and the environment fostered great relationships throughout the year.
