Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked within the site management team, responsible for overseeing clinical trials at the site level. I assisted the team with system accesses for sites, preparing documents and keeping track of various things.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A medium amount, which is as much as is possible, in my opinion.

Yes, definitely. I gained a deeper understanding of clinical trials, learned a lot of new systems and approaches used in managing studies.

Honestly great, I was expecting it to be much more corporate but everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and supportive.
