Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Very much your designated slot to seek opportunities and close your gaps in knowledge about the firm. While there were structured and assessed tasks, there is scope to get involved with a vast majority of work that you're interested in. Even if not directly related to your seat.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Until the scheme, I hadn't considered the level of BD that goes into law and how that really generates business.

I've definitely harnessed my networking skills since being here. You really have to seize the opportunity to speak to as many established and interesting people in the field as you can.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It's been such a valuable two weeks and there's honestly not a single day I haven't enjoyed. It's crazy how excited I have been to talk about my day to my housemates at the end of each day.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to RPC
Really understand why the firm fits your employment needs. A lot of senior associates and partners have been in the business since their training contract, so it's a place for longevity if that's what you're looking for.
