Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Managing and supporting with projects. I have co-ordinated a new communications strategy for the department creating documents to brief the Buying teams on new processes. I have also worked on numerous other projects to streamline the product approval process. As well as working on a project to review Aldi's product testing programme.

We were given lots of responsibility.
It can feel quite pressurising at the beginning but it is really valuable to allow you to develop.

I think the company culture is ok. There are opportunities to get involved with different activities to build relationships across teams.

What advice would you give to others applying to Aldi
There are some great opportunities to progress within Aldi. I would suggest researching these opportunities for example the area manager scheme before applying to see if it interests you. I would also research the role that you are entering to gain an understanding of the tasks and responsibilities you will be undertaking.
