Internal Audit Undergraduate Review

My role consisted of getting involved in different audits in my team. This includes the start to finish process of an audit. I performed many reviews of documents and sought recommendations. On a monthly basis I would create the BoM report. Every day is a different day; completing new tasks and learning new skills.

I was given full responsibility, beyond what I have ever been given in any work experience. First two months were training and easing in but my manager made sure to challenge me and this responsibility helped me develop personally and professionally.

The company culture is the best one i've seen yet. Not only do internal teams get along but everyone across the organisation are lovely. The atmosphere has been great; whether it is in the office or working from home through meetings/ team calls.

I absolutely loved my placement year. I thrilled as a personal in the company and developed many skills I didn't imagine I would. This not only has aided me in being prepared for the post-graduate life, but has also helped me for my final year of studies when I go back to university.
