Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I simulate our transmission systems using a software called ROMAX, I collect and analyse data surrounding this system and compare it to previous data. Sometimes I'm called to inspect defects in the engine build line next to us. I'm used as a flexible resource in my home team to create engineering drawings, procure parts, organise parts, transport parts, in-person testing, document writing.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given ample opportunity for responsibility during my placement. I wasn't thrown straight in but asked If I would like to pick up additional work that I would be responsible for. They treated me like a true member of the team and treated me with respect. I was involved in various tasks and procedures that required me to be very responsible with my time-planning and attention to detail.

I loved my placement. If I wanted to do something, you could push and just do it. I've set up racing tournaments and had loads of socials.
