Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working on insurance inspections, attending meetings to discuss issues from the previous day, investigating data on breakdowns to see what the issues can be fixed. Work on projects to improve the facilities in the factory.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I was allowed to work on projects myself and make decisions that effected the outcomes of these projects. Had the ability to purchase items needed for jobs that where quite expensive.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Developed my ability to use word packages e.g. excel, PowerPoint etc. Improved my ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and provide design ideas. Improved my coding ability.

I received a fair amount of support however my manager has changed numerous times which has left the placement feeling a bit dis-organised.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
A good team spirit however it felt like the general atmosphere was quite poor. Teams feel like working with other teams is not wanted

Ask/look for work. Due to not having a set manager for a couple of months there wasnt much work given to me
