Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked as a test engineer, therefore I would manage the testing of vehicle components every day. This involved procuring test equipment and fixtures, co-ordinating with technicians to build rigs, setting up and running tests, updating customers on test progress, identifying, logging and resolving test issues as well as writing test reports.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was given the responsibility to manage tests individually.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learnt numerous soft skills such as teamwork, time management and presentation skills. I have also learnt many hard skills using programs such as Python, MATLAB, Google Cloud Services, CANalyser and Tableau.
