You get the chance to work on real-life projects ranging from marketing
campaigns, digital design assets, and branding projects to help manage and maintain TopCashback’s website for the UK, USA, China, Germany & France.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Very much responsibility! Such as curating the design of the most important moment for the company: Black Friday event; taking care of an editorial project entirely curated by myself, taking personal decision when creating new deliverables for some campaigns on site, creating animation videos for the social media platforms, designing a football stand that got printed out and even curating the Stafford Pride, sponsored by the company itself... These are few mentions!

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Many. Working across multiple platforms such as Jira, Trello Board, Miro Board, the company's server, Atom for the creation of the assets for the website. All the Adobe package: After Effect, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and more!

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A lot! Everyone is incredible and it feels like home... going to the office feels like greeting your family and my manager was great: she assisted me whenever I needed her by never making me feel alone and helping me in taking responsibilities and choices when it came down to my work, by helping me believing in myself more.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Amazing, couldn't have asked for better than this! The curation to details, the kindness, the wholesome of being a team and being part of the company. the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming I got to make so many friends and everyone is so smiley every day and it helps starting the day on a good step. they look after each one of us because we are people first, listening to our needs and cherish us at any milestone/accomplishment achieved.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Every time I think about TopCashback, a smile comes up on my face, I could never stop talking about the AMAZING and fulfilling experience it has been for me. I think words and numbers can't really measure the enjoyment and the joy of being part of the team and the company!

What advice would you give to others applying to TopCashback
To just appreciate every moment because time flies and making the most out of it! As a first experience in a job environment, it's a perfect start and almost too beautiful to be true so my span for future job appliances will be very high after such a lovely journey with TCb.
