Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was shared between 2 teams where i was as much as a part of the team as the others. Was not treated like an intern, was given the same type of work the other full employees were. I sat in meetings along side my manager, some of which i would talk through my work to people that have briefed me on a project

i was given briefs that i would handle myself and send off for approval.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
developed my skills massively in adobe, especially photoshop and illustrator. Improved expressing my ideas better and getting to a solution faster. I used to spend so long in the initial research process. Disney has taught me to more effectively do moodboards etc

I had 2 mentors. one from each team who i had fornightly 1-2-1 with, but i could have asked anyone from either team for help

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Disney is a super fun company to work for. There are so many fun extras in the office with it being a global entertainment company. I've had so much fun this past year. Everyone here is lovely. I will miss it so much.

I have massively enjoyed it. I would love to come back after i finish final year. met so many other interns too.

What advice would you give to others applying to The Walt Disney Company
Do Not use AI to write your cover letter! Its so obvious. Secondly be yourself in the interview the main thing is they want to see if you would get on with them and the team.
