Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Using a lot of excel to view, manipulate and transform data to draw useful conclusions from. Often liaising with other sub-departments to talk about budgets, and generally being their main point of contact for any finance related issues.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, as time went on through the placement, my manager trusted my ability more and more so week on week I was able to aid in more high level work which is great.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
My competency across the Microsoft suite has grown exponentially and in particular with excel. Exposure to Power Bi has been very interesting as well as looks great for future employers as I know have experience using a data presentation tool. My verbal communication skills have furthered and I have improved a lot in speaking to large groups.

Extremely sociable, always options to go out after work. about 90 placement students across the company in the CSG office.
